Bobbie Joe, 75, flys in a jet. April 2008 
Bobbie Joe, 75 of Southampton, NJ, dreamed to fly in a fighter jet.  Bobbie served in the Army for 21 years and was stationed all over the globe, including Korea and two tours of Vietnam.  On 4/19/08 Bobbie's wish to fly came true.

Bobbie's wish would not have been granted without the help of aerobatic pilot Allen H. Smith III.  Smith flew Bobbie in his restored L-39.

Bobbie was in the air for over an hour.  The jet took off from Northeast Airport in Philadelphia.
