"Twilight Wish Foundation Month" Designated by PA House of Representatives for June 2007

On Monday, June 4, 2007, Bucks county-based Twilight Wish Foundation was honored by having the month of June 2007 designated as “Twilight Wish Foundation Month” in Pennsylvania. Sponsored in part by Representative Marguerite Quinn, R-Bucks, Resolution 287 will honor the work that Twilight Wish Foundation has done throughout the Commonwealth in enriching the lives of many seniors through advocacy for senior issues and building awareness through education and hands-on multi-generational experiences .

As part of the celebration of this historic designation, Twilight Wish Foundation granted the wish of a senior citizen on the floor of the House of Representatives. Karen Snow, a Harrisburg resident in her 70s, had her wish of a nice dinner with her daughter, including transportation, granted. Karen’s wish was be the 767th individual wish granted by Twilight Wish Foundation, a 501c(3) charitable non-profit organization.

In addition, Rep. Quinn asked younger generations throughout the Commonwealth to perform spontaneous acts of kindness towards seniors throughout the month of June.

Twilight Wish Foundation looks to individuals, organizations and corporations to help us create the "unexpected thank you" experience. Where ever you live, however much time and energy you can contribute, we welcome your support.

Volunteers

Volunteers are the backbone of Twilight Wish Foundation. Only through the hard work and time commitment of volunteers on a local basis is the Foundation able to grant wishes and fund award celebrations to bring smiles to the seniors who brought smiles to us through the years.

Through monthly giving, tribute donations, workplace giving and personal contributions, generous people make the wishes of our elders come true. Secure donations can be made via PayPal, or mailed to: Twilight Wish Foundation at P.O. Box 1042, Doylestown, PA 18901.

The Twilight Wish Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. A 501(c)(3) charity can accept contributions and offer donors a tax deduction for their gifts. For donors, this means your contributions are fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law.
